This interactive lecture discusses the aspects of secondary assessment when caring for patients with traumatic injury. If the patient is critical, secondary assessment might not be completed in the prehospital setting. The extent of the secondary assessment is based on the mechanism of injury and the patient's complaints and condition as time permits.

Identify treatment options for a trauma patient based on assessment findings.
