Paediatric Cardiac Arrest (ALS)
This interactive lecture explores high-quality cardiac arrest management of newborns, infants and children until puberty and the causes of cardiac arrest in this patient population. It also details airway management, vascular access and pharmacology in these situations. to apply provider fatigue, the importance of minimizing interruptions, and the ventilation/compression ratio.
After completing this course, the practitioner will be able to:
- Describe how to perform one-and two-rescuer CPR on infants and children.
- Apply ALS management skills during a pediatric cardiac arrest
- Investigate unique causes of pediatric cardiac arrest
